Attention lockdown locals in the Scottish Borders!
We are living history. The coronavirus pandemic has affected us all, and although it may be hard to think upon the situation in a positive light, it’s undeniable that something unique is happening.
As photographers we are keen to find a way of offering people a keepsake, a visual souvenir of their time in lockdown. The concept of ‘doorstep photography’ has flourished in many parts of Scotland (we became aware thanks to Caro Weiss in Glasgow) as people begin to see the light at the end of this rather unchartered tunnel.
We’re excited to introduce our own variety of front door photography, offering a mini session to those local to Galashiels in the Scottish Borders. Our doorway experience is a 15 minute, no contact photoshoot to take place on your own front step, captured using a telephoto lens to ensure great imagery at a great distance.
For now we’re keeping to a 10 mile radius from our home in Galashiels - this includes Stow, Lauder, Melrose, St Boswells, Selkirk, Innerleithen and everything in between). Each session is priced at £45 and includes 5-10 edited, high resolution digital photographs.
These images will be something to show your children, your children’s children, your children’s children’s children (and so on) far into the future when others can look back and see your part in our moment in history.
Send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the booking app in our description to book your session in the Scottish Borders.
